Krystyna Koval, Participant of the School of Scientific Leadership of the Faculty No. 1, participated in the international youth exchange "Bookmarks vs. hatespeech", which took place in Motycz Leśny, Poland.
Representatives of different countries took part in the youth exchange: Ukraine, Albania, Armenia, Georgia, Turkey, Italy, Tunisia, Greece and Poland. During the youth exchange, participants identified the concept of "hate speech" and ways to counter it in different environments, as well as the causes of bullying, discrimination, racism and the consequences of these phenomena in society. Representatives of different countries were able to raise awareness of the topic of "hate speech" in their local communities due to participation in the project. Participants not only received useful information, but also developed their soft-skills, namely - learned to communicate with new people, improved discussion skills, support and understanding of each other. Participants of the youth exchange took part in various activities, including master classes, lectures, team building events, interactive games, debates, case studies, etc.
