Maryna Haidenko, a participant of the School of Scientific Leadership, a cadet of the 2nd year of the Faculty of KhNUIA, took part in training seminars "Increasing the capacity of non-governmental organizations to raise awareness of gender-based and domestic violence and work with clients in COVID-19".
The webinars were organized by the Ukrainian Public Health Foundation International Charitable Foundation in cooperation with UNFPA, the United Nations Population Fund in Ukraine within the framework of the "WE ACT: Acting for Women and Their Opportunities" program, which is funded by the European Union.
These training events are designed to help civil society organizations and active citizens from 12 regions of Ukraine to strengthen their organizational capacity, in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic to improve the quality of support they provide to victims of gender-based and domestic violence in their regions and communities as well as the efficiency of preventive measures. For the future police officer, such knowledge and skills are extremely important when conducting investigative actions with victims of domestic violence, as well as for establishing psychological contact and forming the communicative competence of a police officer.
