Maksym Nikolenko, the 2nd year cadet of KhNUIA Faculty №1, a participant of the School of Scientific Leadership, listened to a lecture on "The image of a person with disabilities in society", the main purpose of which is to cover problematic issues in communication with people with disabilities.

During the lecture, the main problematic components of communication with people with disabilities, coverage of the image of a person with physical disabilities in society and the media were considered.

The cadet expanded his knowledge about the rights and opportunities of people with disabilities, learned the rules of communication with them, positive foreign practices and directions for possible social projects in this area. Such knowledge and skills are necessary for a police officer in a modern democratic society.

The issues of inclusive education and comprehensive support for people with disabilities are among the priorities at Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs.
