Representatives of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs took part in the first meeting of the consortium of the Horizon 2020 NOTIONES project "Interaction of the intelligence and security network with the subjects of industry and science".

The project aims to: build a network of practitioners from the security and intelligence services of the EU Member States and Associated Countries and support the needs of security and intelligence services of Member States and Associated Countries for further programming of security research. To meet these requirements, the NOTIONES consortium includes 15 practical units of military, civilian, financial, judicial, local, national and international police from nine EU Member States and six Associated Countries. The NOTIONES Science and Technology Coordinator is one of the 50 members of ESRAB and 64 members of ESRIF. These are the two committees to which the European Commission instructs to outline its funding policy for security research programming. In addition, the NOTIONES consortium includes five partners PYTHIA and SOLOMON (Z&P, EXPSYS, ICSA, BDI, LESO) - projects that define EDA/EC defense research programs. Recommendations formulated after the implementation of the project will be synthesized to specifications and provided to European representatives of industry and science. They will provide tangible benefits to intelligence and security organizations. The results of the five-year NOTIONES project will be presented to the general intelligence community at seminars and conferences and will help identify further research in the field of security and intelligence.
