The second day of the training for journalists on "Providing first aid according to the standards of the international program BLS (basic life support)" has started at Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs.
The training is conducted by the staff of the Department of Criminalistics, Forensic Expertise and Pre-Medical Training of the Faculty № 1 – the Head of the Department, Candidate of Legal Sciences, Police Captain Vasyl Kikinchuk, ISITAR Tactical Training Coach, participant of an international UN Peacekeeping and Security Council in the Republic of South Sudan, Police Lieutenant Colonel Vasyl Korniienko and ISITAR Patrol Police Training Coach, Consultant in the Office of the OSCE Project Coordinator in Ukraine, Police Major Yevhen Zozulia.
Journalists received theoretical knowledge on the basics of life support that meets the requirements of the international program BLS (basic life support), as well as considered pre-medical issues for disorders or respiratory arrest, cardiovascular disorders and more.
