Vasyl Korniienko and Tetiana Orlova, associate professors of the Department of Criminalistics, Forensic Expertise and Pre-Medical Training of the Faculty № 1, conducted a binary class along with Mariia Kozyrenko, Executive Director of Kharkiv City NGO "Fund for Saving Children and Adolescents of Ukraine from Drugs". A representative of the foundation was invited as part of a lecture for the first year students in the field of "Drugs, psychotropic substances and their analogues; Signs of Drug Intoxication" for a speach on "The Truth About Drugs".

In an accessible form with presentations Mariia Kozyrenko told the cadets about the nature of drug addiction, the so-called "traps" that encourage young people to non-medical use of various toxic drugs and substances, and the consequences of drug addiction. The cadets received a lot of interesting and useful information, asked a lot of questions. This is not the first meeting of young people with representatives of this public organization. Researchers of the university along with the ''Fund for Saving Children and Adolescents of Ukraine from Drugs'' have prepared three manuals on the prevention of drug trafficking and combating the spread of drug addiction among the population of Ukraine.
