In Sumy branch, as a part of the educational process, a master class on speech culture and homiletics was held by the head of the department for work with youth of Sumy еparchy of Ukrainian Orthodox Church, Archpriest Volodymyr Ravliuka and the head of the department of humanitarian disciplines Valentyna Vasylenko.

At the binary lesson, the issues of spiritual security of Ukraine were considered through the prism of the native language; and the concept of spiritual and moral development of the individual, serving the Word-Logos, charisma, the passion of a secular and spiritual orator were analyzed in the context of innovative approaches.

The speakers noted that the present requires from future law enforcers not only professional knowledge and skills, but also the ability to correctly and convincingly conduct a discussion, to structure their speech in an interesting and competent manner in front of an audience.

The students were convinced that the art of speech is the art of using basic rhetoric laws by speakers.
