In September 2021, Kharkiv region joined the project initiative of the Ukrainian Women's Fund on creation of regional coalitions 1325. The main purpose of the project is to promote the implementation of new local action plans 1325 "Women, Peace, Security" in Ukraine until 2025. During first two months of the project, trainings will be held with the involvement of foreign and Ukrainian experts.
The project is implemented with the financial support of the Office of the Coordinator of U.S. Assistance to Europe and Eurasia within the eighth round of the ''evelopment Cooperation Partnership Program'' on the base of Gender Culture Center.
During one of the trainings, coaches Marharyta Yankauskaite and Ahne Pakshyte, in addition to social construction of gender, ways to overcome gender inequality, also revealed to the community the concept of security from a gender perspective and provided information on the basic principles of the agenda "Women. Peace. Security".
Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs will be represented by the Advisor to the Rector on Gender Issues Candidate of Law, Associate Professor Oksana Tsukan and Candidate of Sociological Sciences, Associate Professor Nataliia Bobro.
