On the occasion of the Day of Partisan Glory, thematic excursions are held for the first-year representatives of all faculties in the museum of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs. The presented historical literature reflects victims among Ukrainian people in the Second World War, which clearly explains the need for modern generations of Ukrainians to turn to those past events.
The selected video provides general information about the armed movement of resistance to the Nazi occupation in Ukraine, the differences between the Soviet and national guerrilla movements.
Electronic copies of documents from the State Archives of Kharkiv region tell about the activities of one of the partisan detachments that operated in Kharkiv region, and examples of the NKVD uniform of the 1930s and 1940s help to move to that time of brutal confrontation between totalitarian systems.
Thematic excursions are aimed at promoting a better understanding by freshmen of important historical lessons of the stateless period of Ukrainian history. By honoring the exploits of all those who, without sparing their lives, fought for the will of our people, we better understand the present time with its challenges.
Activities are carried out in accordance with certain quarantine requirements.
The director of the museum is Andrii Prokhorov.
