The Head of the Department of Social and Economic Disciplines of Sumy branch of KhNUIA, Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor Olena Lukianykhina together with the students of the branch conducted career guidance work among 11th grade students of "Sumy comprehensive school of I-III degrees № 27".

High school students were told about the peculiarities of training lawyers and law enforcement officers in Sumy branch of KhNUIA both under the contract form of education and at the expense of the state budget. The meeting with students who choose a profession has acquired a special content thanks to the students, former cadets of the branch. Nazar Deriuha, Maksym Parashchenko, Oleksii Smolevskyi, Vladyslav Fedorenko and Dmytro Chebiriako, who already work in the National Police of Ukraine, spoke about the benefits of training in Law Enforcement, employment opportunities and their own experience in practical units. Pupils listened to the guests' stories with interest, and received comprehensive answers to all their questions.

A rapid survey was conducted among the graduates of the school to identify their professional abilities in a particular field of law and intentions to choose a future profession.

In general, the meeting turned out to be meaningful and quite lively, and the students expressed a desire to visit the Sumy branch on the Open Day.
