Associate Professor of Sociology and Psychology Yurii Aleksandrov, Senior Lecturer Olena Mokhorieva and Senior Laboratory Assistant Dmytro Bondzyk held an open career guidance meeting with the 10th - 11th graders and the administration of Kharkiv Gymnasium № 144.
During the meeting, specialists of the Department of Sociology and Psychology spoke about the conditions of enrollment and studying at Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs. In addition, they revealed the concept of bullying as a negative socio-psychological phenomenon, explained and analyzed ways to
prevent and deal with bullying for both students and teachers, discussed issues of safe behavior on the Internet.
Representatives of the university also considered the issues of cyber addiction and cyberbullying as one of the most common problems among young people, provided guidelines for dealing and preventing bullying.
