For the 1st year students of the Faculty №6 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs Iryna Vasylko and Maryna Romanenko, Associate Professors of the Department of Legal Support of Economic Activity, professor of the same department Yuliia Kyrychenko and senior lecturer Artem Dobrovinskyi along with a leading specialist in vocational guidance of Kharkiv City Employment Center conducted joint binary lesson on the subject “Fundamentals of Economic Theory and Forensic Accounting”.
Olena Oleksandrivna acquainted the students with the main tasks of the Employment Service, all branches of which work according to a single scheme of providing services. Clients can apply to any employment center and receive all statutory social services related to employment. The employment service has created a unified operational base of vacancies, job seekers and vocational training opportunities throughout the country. This allows you to expand the area of job search for the unemployed not only within the district or region, but also the state as a whole. The employment service is constantly modernized and developed, cares about improving the social protection of Ukrainian citizens from unemployment. The lecturers also paid attention to the interaction of the Employment Service with business entities.
The leading specialist noted that students have the opportunity to apply to the Kharkiv City Employment Center to get free access to information sources and free and qualified assistance of specialists in providing individual information consultations, namely – compiling their own resume and / or video resume, acquiring basic personal skills of using computer, mastering the art of public speaking, get the opportunity to improve and / or change their qualification, etc.
Students also learned about the correctness of creating their own resume, its design, completion, as well as how to improve their professional level without work experience. Future lawyers got acquainted with real examples of resumes in which they could find mistakes.
A representative of the Kharkiv City Employment Center explained the concepts and features of such a field of activity as “recruiter”.
At the end of the class, Olena Vykhodtseva wished the students to study honestly and constantly develop. She offered to take a free testing of the assessment of their strengths, to participate in seminars and projects held at the Kharkiv City Employment Center.
