For the All-Ukrainian Day of Libraries, the Department of Ukrainian Studies of the Faculty №2 presented new publications to the library of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, including “Methodology of dissertation research. Linguistic features of scientific style: Workshop” and “Culture of oral professional communication of law enforcement officers”.

The features of language culture and language etiquette of law enforcement officers, the rules of presentation of research results in written and oral scientific texts, various aspects and forms of business and scientific communication are considered in the manuals.

The relevance of the manuals is due to the high requirements of modern society to students of higher education, their level of language literacy and professional competence, which is especially important given the current Law of Ukraine “On ensuring the functioning of the Ukrainian language as the state language”.
