The first meeting of the scientific circle of the Department of Criminal Procedure and Pre-trial Investigation of the Faculty №1 took place.

The meeting was devoted to the organizational issues of the scientific circle. Tetiana Fomina acquainted the audience with the “Regulations on the work of scientific groups of cadets and students”. Applicants were acquainted with the work plan of the scientific circle for the 2021/2022 academic year. The meeting also clarified the opinion of young scientists on their vision for further research on criminal justice.

The meeting of the scientific circle was attended by the Head of the Department of Scientific Activity and Protection of Intellectual Property Serhii Ablamskyi and senior researcher of this department Kateryna Maravska, who gave an introductory lecture with members of the circle on observance of principles and rules of academic integrity in KhNUIA. The speakers told the audience about the main types of violations of academic integrity and types of responsibility for them. Applicants were told that scientific papers, articles and abstracts were subject to mandatory examination in accordance with the “Procedure for the examination of academic and scientific texts for plagiarism” at Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs.
