For students of the 3rd year of the specialty “Law Enforcement” of the Sumy branch of KhNUIA professor of the department Nataliia Horobets along with judges-speakers of Zarichnyi District Court of Sumy conducted binary classes in the format of online lectures within the project “Court experience – a step to knowledge”.

Students were acquainted with issues related to the recovery of child support and additional costs for it, revealed the essence of the procedure for recovery of alimony in injunctive proceedings, statistics of cases of recovery of alimony Zarichnyi District Court of Sumy for 2019-2020 years. Students` attention was drawn to that the statement of claim when filed with the court must be executed in accordance with the requirements set forth in Art. 175-177 GPC of Ukraine. On the example of the considered court cases, the students were explained what evidence the plaintiffs should refer to in substantiating their claims in cases of recovery of additional costs for the child. They also analyzed the circumstances that are taken into account by the court when considering cases in this category, and noted that samples of applications to apply to the court for the recovery of alimony are available on the court's website. At the end of the session, the judge answered the questions of the audience.
