The cadet of the 3rd year of faculty No 1 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs Mykyta Bielievtsov, who is a member of the School of Scientific Leadership, took part in youth exchange "CultRuralLabIV" of Erazmus+ program held in the village of Poronin (Poland). The goal of the project is intercultural exchange and increasing the level of youth awareness in the issues of ecology, sustainability and rural development.
Representatives of youth organizations from different countries of the world – Romania, Poland, Lithuania, Turkey, Germany and Ukraine – joined the program. The project was supported by the German NGO "A.P.P.O.L.L.O." within the Erasmus+ program of the European Union.
While participating in the project, the participants learned about activities that contribute to the development of rural areas, as well as presented their own projects. Mykyta Bielievtsov presented the project of the National Police of Ukraine "Community Police Officer", which is currently being successfully implemented in the territorial communities of Ukraine. The cadet also suggested social initiatives aimed at strengthening cooperation between communities and police, in particular, patrolling the area, informing about offenses, conducting joint searches for missing persons, developing video presentations, competitions, regional events and courses, participation in donor and volunteer programs.
The participants of the event also presented the educational institutions where they study and the organizations representing them. Mykyta Bielievtsov spoke about the history and achievements of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, its structure, conditions of study, cooperation with educational institutions of foreign countries, international intergovernmental and non-governmental organizations. engaged in volunteering, conducting environmental actions in their spare time, joining various social events and projects.
After completing the program, the cadet of the faculty No. 1, Mykyta Bielievtsov, received a Certificate of the European model "Youthpass".
