Sumy branch of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, in compliance with all quarantine requirements, together with the MDNP in Sumy region and the Patrol Police Department in Sumy region hosted an Open Day. The educational institution was visited by more than 100 future graduates of secondary schools of Sumy and Sumy region, as well as students of colleges and schools.

The Director of Sumy Branch of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, Honored Lawyer of Ukraine, Doctor of Law, Professor Serhii Lukash addressed the audience with a welcoming speech. He told about the institution of higher education, about the peculiarities of admission and study at the university branch both by state order and at the expense of individuals and legal entities.

Tsvitana Baranova, a leading specialist of the branch, acquainted the audience in detail with the peculiarities of registration and registration of personal files for training in the specialty "Law Enforcement" by state order, as well as with the prospects of employment in police bodies and departments.

The graduates inspected the exhibition of weapons and special equipment in the service of the KORD Department of the Main department of the National police in Sumy region and the Patrol Police Department in Sumy region. Police dog handlers demonstrated the work of service dogs to detect drugs. The visitors witnessed the operation of the forensic office, the courtroom, and the language laboratory. Students of the branch performed amateur creative numbers. The young people visited the dormitories where the cadets live.

Visitors also watched a presentation video about the institution, training and leisure of cadets and students, talked to teachers, cadets and students of the branch, received information and image products.

It should be noted that on November 1 starts the electronic registration of candidates from among civilians wishing to study at higher education institutions with specific training conditions, which train police officers.
