Anna Budnik, a 2nd year cadet of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, a participant of the School of Scientific Leadership, took part in the online course “Information Hygiene. How to recognize lies in social networks, on the Internet and on television".

During the course the cadet learned about how the information immunity of Ukrainians was destroyed and what consequences it has for the state and people, about the new role of information in the digital age; why, how and who creates information viruses; what manipulation technologies exist on television, in online media - Facebook, YouTube, Google, Telegram, Viber, Wikipedia, how to consume information safely and teach it to others.

The online course was organized by the volunteer initiative "Information Hygiene" How not to become a vegetable".
