During his speech Anatolii Klochko noted that it is the sacred duty of every citizen to remember those who gave their lives for the future of all of us, for their Motherland. Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs is proud that there are real heroes of Ukraine among its graduates and cadets and students should follow the example of them. Attendees watched fragments from documentaries on Ukraine's modern struggle for state independence and territorial integrity. In particular, the film "Regiment of Azov. Eight Months on the Svitlodarska duha", which deals with military service and the battles during which Dmytro Pruhlo died.

Flowers were laid at the memorial plaque of Dmytro Pruhlo installed in the museum of KhNUIA, and at the portrait of the graduate of the University in 2005, a volunteer of the battalion «Kherson» Police Captain Ruslan Salivonchyk, who died during Ilovaysk battle in August 2014.

Such events should make sense of ordinary "Glory to the heroes!" for cadets because the future of our state depends on each of us, and even more on those who wear the uniform of a military or law enforcement officer.

The event was conducted in accordance with current quarantine regulations.
