Dear freshmen! On behalf of the leadership of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine and myself, I sincerely congratulate you on the solemn event in your life - taking of the Police Oath.

Taking the oath  will forever remain in the life of every police officer a key moment from which a new countdown of their lives will begin in the law enforcement system of our state.

Today you took the oath for loyalty to Ukrainian people. From now, you are the guarantor of the independence and security of the state, an integral part of the system of ensuring peace and law and order in Ukraine. Always believe in your own strength, stay strong, persistent in learning, purposeful in achieving the goal.

I want the police service to be a calling of your hearts and a matter of a lifetime. Be courageous, wear a uniform, gain valuable experience and knowledge, focus your efforts on protecting people from unlawful encroachments, defend their constitutional rights and freedoms.

New achievements, success and inspiration in the police service are for the benefit of the state. I believe that you will not betray your principles, you will become a model and a real pride of our nation.

Always be faithful to the people of Ukraine and the words of the Oath!
