Nadiia Demydenko, Professor of the Department of Humanities of Sumy Branch of KhNUIA and Inna Honcharova, Head of the Information and Documents Department of the State Archives of Sumy region, conducted a practical training in the discipline "Introduction to Legal Research" for the 1st year students.

The researcher of the archive acquainted the applicants for higher education of Sumy branch with a difficult algorithm for searching archival primary sources, with archives catalogs, composition and content of archival documents, history of their formation.

Students received a unique opportunity to get acquainted with rare documents of the archive of legal topics, in particular, with the minutes of court hearings of Hlukhiv orphanages and other courts of the XVIII century. Such classes significantly increase the interest of students in the organization of independent scientific research, improve their organization, contribute to the search for true novelty, compliance with academic integrity.
