On the eve of the 25th anniversary of faculty № 6 the Dean of the Faculty Oksana Brusakova and the Head of the Department of Social Sciences and Humanities of the same faculty Professor Volodymyr Grechenko prepared a monograph "By Growth and Search" (to the 25th anniversary of faculty № 6 KNUIA) under the general editorship of the Rector of the University, Doctor of Law, Professor, Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Police General of the Third Rank Valerii Sokurenko.

The monograph is devoted to the study of the history and development of faculty № 6 (law) of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs. The issues of formation of the system of training specialists of different specialties since 1996 and to the present day are considered. The study has accumulated significant experience of the dean's office, departments of the faculty over a long historical period. The book has three sections: "Creation and formation of the faculty, its leaders", "Structural subdivisions of faculty № 6", "Chronicle of the faculty life (2014-2021)", which reveal the main directions of this subdivision of the University: educational, scientific, educational, career guidance, sports, amateur art. The monograph is written on the basis of documentary materials: information from the University newspaper "Serve the Law", the University website, memoirs of several heads of faculties, references of departments. The book contains many interesting photos that clearly illustrate various aspects of the faculty. The publication will be interesting to teachers and scientists, veterans of the police and the university, its graduates, cadets and students, local historians - all who wants to know the history of training for law enforcement agencies.
