The conference of the primary trade union organization of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs took place. It has 3584 trade union members and 100 delegates were invited to the conference.

The report of the chairman of the trade union organization Valerii Moskovets was put on the agenda. He noted that during the reporting period from 2018 to 2021, more than 2,000 appeals were received from University staff, which were considered and mostly resolved positively. These include financial, moral and psychological assistance, organization of cultural events, outreach, etc. The chairman of the trade union stressed that the activity of the union would be impossible without the support of the University administration and all members of the trade union committee.

Due to the expiration of the term of office of the trade union leadership, the composition of the members of its committee was re-approved at the conference. The right to be the chairman of the trade union was unanimously given to Valerii Moskovets, a senior researcher of the Research Laboratory for Combating Crime of KNUIA.
