A long-term cooperation within the CEPOL Exchange Program project continues. At the end of October, Kharkiv region and Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs paid a working visit: Florine Locatelli, Captain, Deputy Chief of International Trainings and Partnerships Department of the National Training Center of Gendarmerie Forces (Perigueux, France), Mika Salminen, Detective Chief Inspector (Kotka, Finland), Ioana Bordeianu, Chief Commissioner of police, Head of the Foreign Languages and Socio-Humanistics Sciences Department of the Border Police School of TrainingAgents (Oradea, Romania).
Foreign experts met with the management of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs. They got acquainted with the educational and methodical and material base of the university - visited training grounds, specialized classrooms, university museum, took part in the international round table "Identification of corruption risks in the Ministry of Internal Affairs, ways to prevent and combat corruption in the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine" and international conference "Relevant issues of criminal procedure and criminalistics".
Foreign colleagues also got acquainted with the work of practical police units of Kharkiv region - the Main Department of the National Police of Ukraine in Kharkiv region, the Patrol Police Department in Kharkiv region, Kharkiv Research Forensic Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.
Based on the results of this work, the following steps for further cooperation have been identified.
The guests also got acquainted with Kharkiv, its historical and architectural monuments, visited the city recreation park named after M. Gorky, the Shevchenko Gardens, zoo, etc.
