The first stage of the All-Ukrainian Olympiad in the discipline "Electrical Machines and Devices" took place at the cycle commission of aviation and radio-electronic equipment among the third-year higher education applicants specialty "Electric power, electrical engineering and electromechanics" of Kremenchuk Flight College of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs.

The Olympiad was organized and conducted by Yevhen Volkanin, a lecturer of the cycle commission of aviation and radio-electronic equipment, candidate of technical sciences, specialist of the highest category. He noted that electrical machines and devices are the main elements of any electrical equipment in the workplace, in the home, in electricity, air, rail or road transport, therefore, graduates of the specialty "Electric power, electrical engineering and electromechanics" need knowledge of theory and understanding the physical nature of electromagnetic, mechanical, thermal processes occurring in electrical machines and devices.

Alona Khebda, the head of the cycle commission of aviation and electronic equipment, and Kateryna Skrypets, a methodologist of the department of educational and methodical work and organization of licensing, wished the young people the best results in the Olympiad.

According to the results of participation in the first stage of the Olympiad, the winners received diplomas:

first place - Oleksander Khytsenko;

second place - Kateryna Doroshenko ;

third place - Bohdan Potsybai.
