For 12 years, the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine has been organizing the International Language and Literary Competition for pupils and students named after Taras Shevchenko. The first stage of the competition was held at Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs within the Week of Ukrainian Language and Culture (http://www.univd.edu.ua/uk/news/11250).
