Advisor to the Rector on Gender Issues of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, Candidate of Legal Sciences, Associate Professor Oksana Tsukan and responsible for gender issues at Kremenchuk Flight College of KhNUIA, Candidate of Economic Sciences Maryna Petchenko took part in the online workshop "Women in the Field of Intellectual Property".The event was organized by the State Enterprise "Ukrainian Institute of Intellectual Property" (Ukrpatent) in cooperation with the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine.

The event brought together women from different sectors of business, education and research, intellectual property (IP) to raise awareness of women's contribution to IP, and to encourage the use of IP in innovation and creativity.

The range of speakers of the event was not limited to representatives of the World Intellectual Property Organization, but also international and national experts. Particular emphasis was placed on the skills needed for effective leadership, examples of personal success in the field of IP.
