For the purpose of national, military and patriotic education, on the eve of the Day of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, cadets and first-year students, staffs of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs together with the Vice-Rector Anatolii Klochko and Advisor to the Rector Viktor Slysh visited 92 separate mechanized brigade named after I. Sirko in the village Kluhyno-Bashkyrivka of Chuhuiv district of Kharkiv region.
Cadets and students laid flowers to the fallen soldiers at the Memorial of Glory and honored the memory of the fighters for independence with a minute of silence. Roman Yesin, Lieutenant Colonel, Deputy Commander of the Brigade for Moral and Psychological Support, met with the guests of the unit.
Artur Batistov, Lieutenant Colonel, conducted a tour of the Museum of Military Glory for representatives of the university. He told about the sad and heroic pages of the events taking place today in eastern Ukraine, acquainted with the combat route of the 92nd separate mechanized brigade named after I. Sirko, with the brightest and most memorable pages of heroic deeds and victories of her soldiers, as evidenced by photographs, personal belongings of soldiers, presented in the museum of the military unit. The young people were impressed by the Memorial Room and the commemoration of the fallen soldiers. According to Orthodox tradition, the military chaplain of the unit, Father Serhii, conducted a prayer service.
In the assembly hall of the House of Culture, cadets and students watched a documentary about the modern history of the 92nd separate mechanized brigade named after I. Sirko, visited the gym and shooting range, where those who wished, took the opportunity to test their accuracy with a small-caliber rifle.
Representatives of the university also got acquainted with the park of combat vehicles - modern models of military equipment and weapons of the brigade. Vice-Rector of the University, Anatolii Klochko, thanked the leadership of the military unit for a meaningful meeting, wished further success in combat missions and invited to study at Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs all those who want to improve their professional level or get a higher or second higher education.
