As part of the annual All-Ukrainian action "16 Days Against Violence", the leaders of scientific circles of the cycle commission of natural sciences Yana Doludareva, Svitlana Hrybanova, Oksana Husarova, Vitalii Moskalyk and Liudmyla Pylypenko held thematic meetings on "Gender Violence in Society".

Participants of scientific circles reviewed key research of well-known sociologists and discussed the most interesting of them, shared their impressions after reading and analysis.

The study groups also discussed the impact of media resources on the formation of worldviews on gender stereotypes in the family, in the private sphere, at work and in society as a whole. Types of domestic violence, their manifestations, preventive measures to counteract this phenomenon in society were identified, and contacts of public organizations that help victims of violence were provided.

It is important to remember that we need to fight violence together, know our rights and respect the rights of others.
