Celebrations dedicated to the International Civil Aviation Day took place at Kremenchuk Flight College of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs.

In Ukraine, thousands of people work in the field of civil air transport, aircraft construction, are engaged in research and development in the field of flight safety, train future pilots in educational institutions. It is a professional holiday for technicians who maintain and repair aircraft, helicopters and aviation equipment, aviators who work in agriculture, freight transportation, participate in rescue and search operations, airport and airfield staff. All these professions can be obtained at Kremenchuk Flight College of KhNUIA.

Many guests were invited to the celebration: veterans, pilots, staff, cadets and college students.  

The celebrations were opened by the director of the college Ruslan Yakovlev. He congratulated the audience on the holiday and noted that today seven college graduates, who received a pilot's license, work in the National Police, perform tasks on an Airbus-145 helicopter and this is just the beginning.

Deputy Mayor of Kremenchuk Dmytro Kravchenko congratulated the audience on the holiday: “I am proud of our educational institution, which trains high-quality specialists. I am sure that the pilots - graduates of Kremenchuk Flight College will land the first helicopters on the helipad, which is being built on the basis of Kremenchuk Intensive Care Hospital. "

Veterans and staff of the aerodrome service were awarded diplomas and letters of gratitude. Veterans of the college congratulated the cadets on the right choice of profession and wished to continue their work with dignity.

The celebrations ended with a festive concert.
