Employees of the department of social and humanitarian, educational and career guidance work of Kremenchuk Flight College of KhNUIA together with cadets and students honored the memory of Holocaust victims. During the event, all those present put flowers at the Holocaust Memorial and lit candles.

The date of commemoration of the victims of the great tragedy was set by a resolution of the UN General Assembly. It was on January 27, 1945 that the troops of the 1st Ukrainian Front released the prisoners of Hitler's largest death camp, Auschwitz, near Auschwitz, Poland.
