During the action "Donation is romance" held at the plasma center "Biopharma Plasma Sumy", 2nd year cadets of Sumy branch of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs donated blood components for those who need it.
"In my opinion, romance is a way of life that is characterized by optimism and positive emotions," said Police Officer Mykola Siroshtan. "And we, the donors, are proof of that."
The cadets have been active participants in the branch's donor movement for almost three years. During this time, police officer Semen Bilokobylenko donated blood components more than 15 times: “I chose the profession of a police officer, and my mission is to help people. By donating my blood, I know it is a salvation for another person. ”
"It's always nice to hear that my blood was used to help hospital patients," said Anastasia Moskalenko, a second-year cadet at Sumy branch of KhNUIA. "I believe that every drop of it is a step towards recovery."
This time the cadets replenished the blood bank with 1300 ml of plasma and 500 ml of blood. They say they will not stop there and are ready to come to the rescue at any moment.
