Within the implementation of the "Ukraine United" activities, a track-and-field run to support the sovereignty, independence and territorial integrity of Ukraine took place at the training complex of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs "Dynamo-Arena". This event united over a thousand cadets, students and staff of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, National Academy of the National Guard of Ukraine and National University of Civil Protection of Ukraine.

The event began with the performance of the National Anthem of Ukraine and the raising of the State Flag of Ukraine. The right to raise it was entrusted to the best sportsmen of the university: Candidate for the Master of Sports on Polyatlon Victoriia Holub, Candidate for the Master of Sports on Sambo Heorhii Ivchenko, Candidate for the Master of Sports on Weight Sports Oleksii Medintsev, the prize-winner of the Championship of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine on track and field athletics Yevheniia Suprun.

The participants of the event were congratulated by the Rector of the University Police General of the Third Rank Valerii Sokurenko. He noted that representatives of three higher education institutions, subordinated to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, are taking part in the track-and-field run today. "I am convinced that physical training, readiness for service is a guarantee of your success, career achievements", said Valerii Sokurenko. “Today it is difficult for Ukraine to have time, and we must show to the whole world that we are the only ones that we have not forgotten the words of the oath that was made on the loyalty of the Ukrainian people. And today's athletics run only confirms that Ukrainians do not fall before the tests and difficulties. Serve and study in such a way that people respect you and God will protect you!"
