OSCE is descended from the early 1970s, when it was established the Conference on Security and Cooperation in Europe (CSCE) to organize forum for negotiation between East and West. The organization includes 57 member states, covering the entire globe, including three continents - North America, Europe and Asia - and more than a billion people.
The purpose of their visit was to get acquainted with the process of training of cyberpolice, information exchange on international experience of the police and views on improving the work of the police.
During the meeting with the Rector colonel of police Valerii Sokurenko was discussed the reform of the police in Ukraine subject to the experience of European countries. Mr. Vaidotas Verba was interested in issues of training new employees of patrol police, cyberpolice at the Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, and discussed prospects and place of the university in the system of police training.
Summing up the meeting, there was achieved a series of agreements about the possibilities of further cooperation in international projects and cooperation with German colleagues from the Brandenburg State Police Academy and College and police training institutions of other European countries.
