KhNUIA representatives – Advisor to the Rector on Gender Issues, Candidate of Legal Sciences, Associate Professor Oksana Tsukan and Associate Professor of the Department of Social and Economic Disciplines, Candidate of Sociological Sciences – Nataliia Bobro took part in a two-day strategic session on actualization of National Actions Plan on Implementation of UN 1325 «Women, Peace, Security» resolutions until 2025.

At the session chaired by the Government Commissioner for Gender Affairs Kateryna Levchenko, the current problems faced by Ukrainian women and men since the beginning of the war were discussed. In particular, ensuring compliance of infrastructure, primarily critical, with the needs of identifying security threats, preventing such threats, responding to potential challenges using a gender approach; formation of skills in different population groups to identify security challenges, prevent such challenges, respond to them taking into account the specific consequences; creation of conditions for the participation of civil society institutions, including self-organization bodies of the population, activists in the implementation of the "Women, Peace, Security" agenda.

After discussion in groups and exchange of opinions, changes were proposed to the items of measures (paragraphs 12, 15-16) "Infrastructural security" of the draft Plan for the implementation of the National Action Plan for the implementation of UN Security Council Resolution 1325 "Women, Peace, Security" for the period until 2025.https://univd.edu.ua/uk/news/13114
