Helping cancer patients means giving them hope! And everyone needs hope in times of war. At the initiative of the Rector of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs Valery Sokurenko, with the direct assistance of Oleksii Serdiuk, Head of the Research Laboratory for Psychological Support of Law Enforcement, Iryna Shcherbakova, Head of the Public Relations Department, Mykola Pakhnin, Head of the Center for Ukrainian-Polish Development and Victor Vasylenko, Dean of the faculty №5 and Oleg Sidorenko, emergency neurosurgeon of the 1st Neurosurgical Department of the City Clinical Hospital of Ambulance and Emergency Care the medical equipment (drip infusion machines and orthotics) was transferred to the Oncology center and the Trauma department of one of the hospitals in Kharkiv. The humanitarian aid came from the German people through the organization Ruricher Hilfswerk-OST e.V with the personal assistance of Aleta Weber and Solomiya Rozhko. The transferred equipment increased the center's ability to simultaneously administer chemotherapy to severe patients several times. The administration of the center expresses its sincere gratitude to the rector of KhNUIA for providing humanitarian aid! In these difficult times together we are bringing our victory closer and give hope to Kharkiv residents!
