In 2021, Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs signed a memorandum of cooperation within the framework of the "Kharkivshchyna 1325" Coalition. This document combined the efforts and resources of more than 15 public organizations, five higher education institutions of the security and defense sector, as well as the Department of Education and Science of Kharkiv Regional State Administration. The measures are aimed at the implementation of the local action plan 1325 "Women, peace, security" for 2021-2025 and equal access of women to reconstruction processes during and after armed conflict.
Oksana Tsukan, assistant to the rector of KhNUIA for gender issues, candidate of legal sciences, assistant professor, participated in the training as a trainer on the subject of "Localization of the NAP 1325 "Women. Peace. Security". The Kharkiv public community, in particular representatves of KhNUIA, received information about the importance of the implementation of UN Security Council Resolution 1325 "Women. Peace. Safety" and further steps in its implementation in the Kharkiv region. This became possible thanks to the support of the Ukrainian Women's Fund.
