Nadiia Serhiienko, a specialist of the Department of International Cooperation, member of the Equal Opportunities team of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, project coordinator of the Science Park "Science and Security", completed a three-day training on monitoring and evaluation of 1325 regional action plans in Kharkiv region. The event was organized by the Ukrainian Women's Fund with the support of the Government of the Kingdom of the Netherlands within the framework of the project "Women. Peace. Security: local needs – local solutions". Monitoring the implementation of the National Action Plan 1325 "Women, Peace, Security" in Kharkiv Region is the main goal and task of the "Kharkivshchyna 1325" Coalition and can become the basis for recommendations to the National Action Plan for the implementation of UN Security

Council Resolution 1325 "Women, Peace, Security" until 2025. KhNUIA, as a member of the regional Coalition since its foundation in 2021, is a permanent participant in activities and work in this direction.

Director of the Women's Information and Consultative Center (WICC), trainer Anastasia Nenka conducted intensive training on the above-mentioned topics for members of the Coalition - representatives of the government, the security and defense sector, and public organizations.

Training participants performed relevant practical exercises based on real successful examples of the monitoring process, thus they gained basic knowledge of its principles, types, risks, categories and tasks. When solving group tasks, representatives of various structures used their own

experience and peculiarities of their professional direction, developed skills in drawing up monitoring plans, making changes to the monitoring process, working in a team, etc. The successful achievement of training objectives provided an opportunity to further focus on the conflict-related sexual violence concept and the Murad Code, which represents minimum standards for the safe Information gathering and use obtained from a victim.
