Every year, on the occasion of the Great Kobzar's birthday, the NGO "Innovative Horizons of Ukraine" holds an All-Ukrainian essay contest for pupils and students "My Shevchenko", where each participant has the opportunity to present their own vision of the artist's figure and the relevance of his poetry in our time.
