Representatives of the "Equal Opportunities" team of KhNUIA: Assistant to the Rector on Gender Issues, Candidate of Law, Associate Professor Oksana Tsukan, Candidate of Sociology, Associate Professor Natalia Bobro, and specialist of the International Cooperation Department Nadiia Serhiienko took part in the monthly meeting of Kharkiv Region 1325 Coalition.

The monitoring results of Regional Action Plan for the implementation of the National Action Plan for the Implementation of UN Security Council Resolution 1325 "Women, Peace, Security" for the period until 2025 were presented to the participants of the Coalition. Nataliia Bobro, associate professor of the Department of Socio-Economic Disciplines, coordinated a recent sociological survey among women – representatives of the security and defense sector, which became part of the presentation. The study aimed at identifying existing gaps in needs of the specified category of women in the labor system. Based on the survey, recommendations and measures were developed for further implementation in terms of taking into account the needs of female officers of educational institutions of the security and defense sector of Kharkiv region.
