On April 16, 2024, police lieutenant colonel Yurii Skliarov, a man who devoted many years of his life to working at Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, passed away. From March 1984, he headed the financial department of Kharkiv Special School for Advanced Training of Police Commanders of the USSR Ministry of Internal Affairs, from 1995 to 2002 - the financial and economic department of the university's financial and economic department, and from 2002 to 2005 - he held the position of Assistant Rector for Organizational Work of the Department of Organizational, Analytical Work, International and Interuniversity Relations of the National University of Internal Affairs. https://univd.edu.ua/uk/news/19574
