On 29 October 2024, Police Colonel Oleksii Bondarenko, a man who devoted many years of his life to working at Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, passed away. From 1997 to 2018, he worked at the Research Laboratory for the Prevention and Investigation of Crimes, as well as at the Department of Criminal Procedure of the University.
