According to the results of the first year of work, the annual plenary meeting of the International Research Consortium on the RESONANT project “Interdisciplinary Research Cooperation on Foreign Interference, Suppression and Manipulation of Information in Diaspora Communities”, implemented under the Horizon Europe program, was held in Munich. The project coordinator, Head of the Research laboratory of socio-psychological support, assistance and rehabilitation of employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the ERI №3, Oleksii Serdiuk, participated in the event from Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs.

The main purpose of the event was to discuss the stages of project implementation, report on the first year of its implementation and resolve key issues, including financial aspects. Oleksii Serdiuk reported on the achievements of the Ukrainian consortium participants and on financial costs, and also presented proposals for improving project management mechanisms.

During the meeting, it was agreed to sign a Declaration on Cooperation between Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs and the University of Applied Sciences for Public Administration and Ligal Affairs in Bavaria, which will contribute to the expansion of joint educational and scientific initiatives. Special attention was paid to establishing international cooperation in the scientific field, implementing joint events and publications in leading publications.

The RESONANT project brings together scientists, educators and practitioners from European countries, including Italy, Greece, Spain, Belgium, Germany and the Czech Republic. The main objectives of the project are to analyze and counteract manipulative information practices that affect the diaspora community.

The participation of KhNUIA in the project allows the educational institution to strengthen its international ties, integrate into the European scientific space and introduce innovative developments into the educational process and scientific research.
