The annual plenary meeting of participants in the international research consortium of the RESONANT project of the Horizon Europe Programme was held in Madrid (Kingdom of Spain).
The event was attended by Oleksii Serdiuk, Head of the Research Laboratory for Social and Psychological Support, Assistance and Rehabilitation of the MIA employees.
The RESONANT project focuses on interdisciplinary research into foreign interference, disinformation and information manipulation (FIMI), with a particular emphasis on the Ukrainian context and the activities of the rf. The project is being implemented in cooperation with the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.
The main results of the work of Ukrainian partners:
During the meeting, participants discussed progress in creating tools for detecting information threats, legal aspects of the use of artificial intelligence, and issues of protecting fundamental freedoms from authoritarian regimes.
In addition to the main programme, negotiations were held with partners from Complutense University of Madrid on the launch of new joint projects in the field of artificial intelligence for combating crime and protecting children in the digital environment.
The results of the trip will contribute to the further integration of KhNUIA into the European scientific space and the implementation of innovative developments in the university's educational process and the practical activities of the MIA of Ukraine.
