Certificates awarding to training participants concerning leadership and management took place at Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs. Certificates were awarded by Kiastutis Lanchinskas - the Head of the European Union Advisory Mission in Ukraine and Verner Pedersen – Kharkiv Regional Presence Coordinator of the European Union Advisory Mission. Dmytro Shvets - the first Vice-Rector of the University, Police Lieutenant Colonel noted that leadership and ability to plan the work correctly must characterize each leader. Mr. Lanchinskas noted that police officers must believe in themselves, trust their colleagues, and seek changes for the better. Dmytro Shvets thanked Mr. Lanchinskas for the support, provided to the university by the European Union Advisory Mission in Ukraine. It was noted that the Ukrainian Police will possess the European Standards and become the real partner of the community in the nearest time.
