On the occasion of the Human Rights Day, a binary lesson for University cadets, initiated by the Vice-Rector of the University Oleksandr Bakumov and the Department of International Relations, was held at Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs. It was conducted by Andrii Voitsikhovskyi, Professor of the Constitutional and International Law Department  of the Faculty No.4, Serhii Shtukarin, representative of the UN Human Rights Monitoring Mission in Ukraine. The particular attention was paid to international humanitarian law, rights of war prisoners, citizens in conflict zones, and the issue of possible restriction of certain rights during the introduction of martial law.

After lessons with the cadets, Serhii Shtukarin met with the Vice-Rector of the University Oleksandr Bakumov and the Head of the Constitutional and International Law Department  of the Faculty No.4 Mykola Marchuk. The participants of the meeting discussed the directions of further cooperation.
