The presentation of the project "Community Police Officer" took place at Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs. It is another step in the National Police of Ukraine reforming aimed at safety and security of the population.

The presentation was attended by Igor Klymenko, the Deputy Head of the National Police of Ukraine, Valerii Sokurenko, the Head of the National Police Main Division in Kharkiv Region, Dmytro Shvets, the Rector of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, employees of the Preventive Activity Directorate, heads of local Police Departments, as well as heads of the united territorial communities and town councils.

Implementation of the Program is possible due to the cooperation of the National Police of Ukraine and international partners. The event was attended by Timothy Janowick, the Deputy Director of the Regional Program Office in Ukraine, the International Criminal Investigative Training Assistance Program (ICITAP) of the US Department of Justice.
