Yevheniia Lohvynenko, Associate Professor of the Constitutional and International Law Department of the Faculty No.4, and Saer Ammar, Adviser/Trainer on Rule of Law at the European Union Advisory Mission in Kharkiv Field Office, conducted a binary lesson in English for cadets of the Faculty No.3 (group 107) on the subject “Jurisprudence: Constitutional Law" on the topic “Law enforcement agencies of modern states”.

The issues of the effectiveness of fighting against crime by the law enforcement agencies of European countries, the optimization of measures to prevent crime, etc. were discussed using the example of Germany. Particular attention was paid to the issues related to human rights in law enforcement activity. The main provisions of the Convention for the Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental
Freedoms and the case law of the European Court of Human Rights were also discussed. The presentation on “Federal System in Germany” , which aroused the interest of cadets, was demonstrated.
Participants of the lesson actively discussed the presentation material and asked meaningful questions to the EUAM representative.
