The online workshop on “Human Rights and Investigative Interviewing of Vulnerable Groups” has been started for applicants of higher education and employees of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs. The online workshop was held in English with consecutive translation into Ukrainian.
The first day of the workshop was dedicated to thematic discussions on the Protection of Human Rights of Vulnerable Groups. Saer Ammar, Adviser on Rule of Law of the Regional Office of the European Union Advisory Mission in Kharkiv City, was the main speaker. Moreover, the workshop took place with the participation of Coordinator of the
Regional Representative Office of the European Union Advisory Mission in Kharkiv City Robert Zolkiewski.
50 representatives of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs including Sumy Branch and Kremenchuk Flight College attended the workshop.
During the first day general human rights issues, vulnerable groups, protection of the children with disabilities’ rights, inclusive education, hate crimes, non-discrimination in law enforcement, gender equality in Ukraine, gender inequality, etc. were discussed.
