In Kharkov National University of Internal Affairs was held a meeting of the Academic Council, which was conducted by Deputy Head of the Academic Council, First Vice-Rector Serhii Bortnyk with the participation of Academician of the National Academy of Legal Sciences of Ukraine Oleksandr Bandurka and Corresponding Member of the Academy Serhii Husarov. A number of issues were discussed at the meeting, which related to educational, scientific activities of the University and, in addition, employees of the University were awarded.

Vice-Rector of Kharkov National University of Internal Affairs Leonid Mohilevskyi, Assistant Professor of the Department of Police Activity and Public Administration of the Faculty № 3 Major of Police Oksana Panova, Director of the Sumy branch Serhii Lukash, Professor of the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology of the Faculty № 3 Nataliia Miloradova were awarded a Certificate - Departmental Incentive Distinction of Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, for exemplary performance of duties, personal initiative, dedication and consummate professionalism.

Engineer of Сommunal Exploitation Division of the Department of Material Support Tetiana Leonova, cadet of the Faculty № 4 Roman Orlov and cadet of the Faculty № 4 Vladislav Plekhanov were awarded an Honourable Mention- Departmental Incentive Distinction of Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.

Cadets of Faculty № 2 Ianislav Valenkov, Artem Khavronin and Igor Sapeika were awarded a valuable gift, namely watch, from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine for exemplary performance of duties, personal initiative which related to ensuring public safety and order in Kharkiv.

Dean of the Faculty № 6 Oksana Brusakova and Senior Lecturer of the Department of Ukrainian Studies of the Faculty № 2 Nataliia Elnikova were awarded a Honourable Mention of Kharkiv Regional State Administration for a significant personal contribution to the training of highly qualified specialists, many years of conscientious work and professionalism.

Assistant Professor of the Department of Criminal Procedure and Organization of Pre-trial Investigation of the Faculty № 1 Serhii Ablamskyi and Head of the Department for Organizing the Training of Foreign Citizens of the Faculty № 6 Tamara Tsapko also got a Honourable Mention of Kharkiv Regional Council.

Serhii Bortnyk congratulated the colleagues on the awards and wished success in professional activity.
